REGISTRY CHECKWhose name is your work registered under out there?
It scans in bulk how your works appear in foreign collecting society registries and verifies whether you are listed as the publisher.

The problem it solves
Receiving income from abroad depends on one precondition: the work must be correctly registered in that territory’s registry. If you do not appear as the publisher, distribution never starts — and you only find out months later, when the money does not arrive.
Checking registries one by one means running a separate search per work across several societies. The cause of the loss is often not an audit matter but a missing registration.
How it works
Select the works
The works to be checked are selected from your catalogue in bulk.
Start the scan
Connected registries are searched on work number and title; results are grouped by society.
Read the publisher line
Each result shows writer, performer and publisher details. If your name is absent from the publisher field, or another publisher appears there, a registration needs correcting.
Export the findings
Findings are taken as Excel or PDF; you send the correction request to the society yourself.
Input and output
WHAT YOU PROVIDE
- A list of works to check
- Work numbers and rights holder names
WHAT YOU GET
- Registry records grouped by society
- Whether the publisher field is correct
- A list of missing or divergent registrations
- Excel and PDF export
What it does not do
Knowing the limits of a tool matters as much as knowing its capabilities.
- It does not create, correct or update registry records — it only reads and reports.
- The number and coverage of connected registries changes over time; the structure allows new societies to be added.
- It does not decide whether a record is correct; it shows the discrepancy and leaves the interpretation to you.
